Culture Night 2024 - Day 1

Culture Night is a two-night event featuring 2,000 students from 25 different cultural clubs. Night one performances begin on Wednesday, March 13, at 8:00 pm, and welcome starts at 7:45 pm. Night two performances begin on Friday, March 15, at 9:00 pm, and welcome starts at 8:45 pm.

Club Line Up

Night one of the Culture Night performances will proceed in order as follows:

Entrances and Seating Schedule

Seating is limited. When the CAC seating capacity is filled, no one will be allowed in and will be invited to return home and watch it live on BYUH Youtube Live Stream.

There will be NO saving seats.

Current BYUH Students

Seasider Sports & Activities Entrance

A current physical student ID is required for entrance.

The Seasider Sports & Activities entrance for students will open at 6:30 pm and will CLOSE at 7:30 pm. Upon exiting, students will need to get a stamp for re-entry.

Once the entrance for BYUH students is closed, students can enter and exit through the doors facing the Aloha Plaza.

Aloha Plaza Entrance

The Aloha Plaza entrance will open at 7:30 pm for students only. Upon exiting, students will need to get a stamp for re-entry.

General Admission – Statue Entrance

General admission will be admitted at 6:45 pm. Upon exiting, students will need to get a stamp for re-entry.

VIP, Media, Accessible Entrance – Statue Entrance

VIPs, BYUH media, and people with disabilities may enter through the statue side entrance beginning at 6:30 pm.

VIP Entrance

VIP individuals will be issued wristbands that will need to be worn on their left wrist to enter the building. A stamp will be given as guests exit the building for re-entry.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating will be available for individuals who use a wheelchair, walking cane, walker, or crutches. One additional companion will be permitted to accompany these individuals. The elderly community who do not use these assistance methods are asked to line up in the general admission lines.

Tickets

No tickets are needed, but seating is limited. Arrive early. Wristbands will only be issued to all VIPs. General seating admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Saving seats is not allowed. Special seating will be provided for people with health conditions or impairments. Once seating capacity is reached, entrance will be suspended to ensure compliance with fire and safety guidelines.

Safety

Bag checks will be conducted outside the main entrance statue side. Standing or sitting in stairways and entrance/exit portals is prohibited. Noisemakers and balloons are not allowed. Students have prepared vigorously for your entertainment. Guests are invited to be considerate of other spectators. Avoid interrupting performances by remaining in your seats during a club's performance. You may use the bathroom during video segments. If you need help, there will be ushers in vests positioned in the CAC.

BYUH Security, Safety Risk Management, and Honolulu Police Officers will be onsite.

Parking

Parking is free but limited. For the safety of student performers, the Academic Oval will be closed in front of the McKay Gymnasium & Pool, Cannon Activities Center, and Lorenzo Snow Administration Building from 5 pm to 11 pm each day starting Tuesday, March 12 to Friday, March 15
