Club How-Tos

  • 1. Navigate to Engage
    2. Click on the blue sign-in button in the top-right corner.
    3. Then use your student net ID and password to sign in.

    Once you are signed in you can explore campus events, organizations, and clubs, and view campus news.

    3. Then use your student net ID and password to sign in.
    4. Select "Organizations" on the top panel of the page.
    5. Search for specific organizations (clubs)
    6. Select your club of choice and select "Join"
    7. You will be notified when your request has been accepted.

    You can also join a club through the Corq app. See details in the "How to Use the Corq App" section below.
  • To start a club, complete the online club’s registration on Engage during the club registration period at the start of a semester.

    Club Requirements


    • Full Club Name 
    • A Stewardship Statement outlining the purpose of the club 
    • A Learning Outcome highlighting what the club seeks to teach its members 
    • 5 officers and 15 registered members to be recognized as a club 

    Club Officer Requirements



    • President attends leadership class and manages club. 
    • Vice president coordinates service project and career workshop.
    • Vice president coordinates activities. 
    • Treasurer coordinates vouchers and account. 
    • Secretary coordinates meetings, records, and publicity. 

    Clubs Registration:



    Before the registration deadline of a semester, complete the online club’s organization registration, through Engage. 

    • Only one club’s organization registration needs to be submitted per club, preferably by the president. 
    • Each officer will agree to and submit the online stewardship agreement form sent via email.
    • Check your Engage notifications in your go.byuh.edu. 
    • Your advisor will agree to and submit the online advisor agreement form sent via email. 
    You will be notified via email when your club is officially approved. Once approved, your club's organization will appear online in the Engage community. Each club’s presidency must attend a mandatory leadership training held within the first couple of weeks in a semester in preparation to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Corq allows you to discover amazing events and groups around campus from your favorite mobile device. 

    • Download the app from the App Store on your phone
    • Open the app and search for Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
    • To gain more access, select “Sign in for Exclusive Campus Features” on the top of the screen. 
    • After sign in, you will be able to join a club by selecting "Organizations".
      • Search for specific organizations (clubs).
      • Select your club of choice and select "Join."
      • You will be notified when your request has been accepted.
    Browse through the upcoming events and even filter based on distance from your location, event theme, or event category! After finding an event you’re interested in, clicking on the event will allow you to see the additional details.
